May 17th, 1943: flying low over the French coast, 19 Lancaster bombers carrying a top-secret bouncing bombs are about to launch the most audacious, dangerous and famous bombing raid of the Second World War, The Dam Busters. Calgary’s Terry Taerum was in the lead bomber. This is his story.
