The Vale is a meditation on the importance of “green spaces” in an urban setting and the ways in which locales are shaped and imprinted by historical events. It is an ode to one sacred site in particular; a poem about how nature inspires both the mind and feet to wander.
Bio
Conor Tavis McNally is an Edmonton-based filmmaker. Bypassing formal training, Conor creates films though a combination of instinct, hands-on trial and error, and a keen ability to make friends who are talented and helpful. He has made five short films to date. When he is not making films, he is a University of Alberta student working on a combined Native Studies and Education degree.
