The conference was a great weekend where Alberta Artists were able to meet, talk and have some fun. Here is some of the highlights in point form:
* We elected a new President. Tom Andriuk has taken the role. Tom is a long time Alberta Video Artist. He is the one on the top left.
* ‘Streaming media’ the workshop. Tom Andriuk & James Kuehn demonstrated what the AMAA-S servers are capable of doing.
* Two artists from Lethbridge Michael Cambell & Brian McKenna were the guest speakers. They gave the audience a look at some of the work coming out of Southern Alberta.
* Prairie Tales 4 Film Tour was screened on Saturday evening.
* Party, Party, Party. There was no lack of socials.
All out it was an excellent weekend for Alberta Artists.
