GAMA
GALLERY of ALBERTA MEDIA ARTGAMA is a microcinema programming partnership between the Alberta Media Arts Alliance (AMAAS) and the Arts Commons Calgary; Visual and Media Arts Programming. Through a peer assessor selection process, GAMA programs up to 24 Alberta media artists annually running 3 months in duration. The media art appears on television monitors located public areas of Arts Commons. This project reaches a diverse population of all ages; content must be suitable for public spaces. Each of the selected films will receive an artist fee.
Satellite locations for GAMA are on monitors in the CASA in Lethbridge and the Legislative Interpretive Centre in Edmonton.
Arts Commons is proud to partner with the Alberta Media Arts Alliance Society with GAMA technical support provided by EMMEDIA.
